This years Nationals will be held in Liverpool, at the Greenbank Sports Academy.
The Sports Hall is 44 x 34 x 8.4m which accommodates 2 basketball courts to International Wheelchair Basketball Federation standard. There is also seating for upto 500 spectators, and an onsite restaurant / bar. Also onsite is accommodation in a ground floor series of rooms. These will be offered first though to school teams.
The Annual 2nd Belfast Hat Tournament will be held on the 25 & 26 March 2006. It will be held right next to Stormont Parlament this year, and the party venue on friday and saturday night is right beside the pitches. We'll also have some pretty nice changing rooms, showers etc. so after the days play we can relax in the bar.
Format: 4 games a day on grass between at least 8 evenly match mixed teams. There are no divisions in this tournament so bring everyone along fill in a form and we'll mix up the names and create some fun and fair teams. The players consist of an eclectic mix of scots, english, european, canadians, yanks and more irish folk than you can shake a stick at!
