West Coast Sand is a mixed tounament on the golden sands of Exmouth Beach.

Having hosted outdoor and indoor events over the past year, Shake & Bake are pleased to announce their first beach tournament - Quicksand. Taking place on 26th and 27th June, it'll be a 16 team open event on the sunny sands of Exmouth beach.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. It'll cost £130 per team which includes a party, camping and all the usual stuff.

TD - Quicksand

Windfest has been running in Poole for 11 years and features world class Windsurfers and Kitesurfers competing in various nationally ranked competitions over three days. The weekend includes many demonstrations from different sports such as freestyle bikes, a beach volleyball tournament and a wake boarding pool. Over 5000 spectators visit the festival each day and this year The Bournemouth Ultimatum will be hosting a BULA accredited beach tournament as a new feature of the weekend.

West Coast Sand is back, more fun on the sunny south coast of Devon. We do mean more fun as the date has moved to May Day Bank Holiday weekend and will play out over three days. The other big change is that the event will be mixed teams only. More information coming soon.

CUBE is hosted by Aberdeen University Ultimate Frisbee club - Positive Mojo. CUBE was the first official beach tournament to be affiliated with the governing body for beach ultimate (BULA) in the UK, and for a number of years was the official British Beach Ultimate Championships. It is the most northerly BULA affiliated beach ultimate tournament in the UK.

There is a growing band of followers of CUBE, and each year demand for a team space seems to increase. The level of competition is also steadily rising year on year, with sponsorship and branded merchandise also a regular fixture. With a Scottish country dancing ceilidh now a tradition for the Saturday night party, and prizes awarded for the disc golf course and best sandcastle competition, it is also a fun weekend at the beach!
