UKU Nationals 2017 Entry Information

Congratulations to all teams who qualified for UKU Nationals 2017 following the two Regional events in the North and South!


We are happy to announce that entry into the tournament is now open for all divisions.


The entry fee for the tournament is £250 for the Women’s and Mixed Divisions and £350 for the Men’s Division (more details can be found below). The deadline for entry is Monday 7th August and teams need to enter using the UKU Event Entry Form


Camping is available over this weekend, from Friday to Sunday night, at a one-off cost of £5* per tent; camping tickets need to be bought here. There will also be an End of Year Celebration (including dinner and entertainment) on the SUNDAY evening. This will be preceded a presentation from the UKU team, which will also include the awards being presented for both the Women’s and Mixed Division. The evening buffet that follows the presentation will be open to all teams and spectators and tickets will cost £20 per head. They can be bought HERE. You must buy tickets before Friday 18th August if you wish to attend the dinner as final numbers have to be confirmed with the venue one week before the event. The menu will consist of:

All served with bread, baby buttered new potatoes/rice and vegetables where applicable. 
A vegan/gluten free main meal can be requested if required.

We would like to offer this opportunity for all teams, spectators, staff and volunteers to come together, to celebrate the season and the achievements of the year, so make sure you invite all of the team! We look forward to seeing everybody there :) 


*Camping tickets (x1 per tent) cost £5 for the weekend if bought in advance. If you wish to buy them on the day, the price will be £10 per tent. Tickets will be checked over the weekend. More details can be found on the purchase page here.

As previously mentioned, following the cancellation of Women’s Regionals, all of the UK teams that entered for that weekend are now guaranteed a place at Women’s Nationals (as above) and are only required to pay £45 for the team fee, as the entry fee from Regionals will be put towards Nationals. If any teams do not want to take their spot then they will be issued with a full refund of £205 and need to contact us at

Please note that all teams still need to enter using the UKU Event Entry Form to confirm their place. 


For the women’s teams that did not enter Regionals but may still be interested in attending Nationals, and have a team to do so, should also enter using the UKU Event Entry Form with payment of the full £250 entry fee. Any remaining spots in the Women’s Division (following the confirmation of the above teams in addition to the one Irish team - Rebel) will be allocated on a first come first served basis*. Any teams not allocated a spot due to the maximum number of 8 being reached will be placed on a waitlist so if any teams drop out then they will be offered the chance to play. Important: Please wait until your spot at Women’s Nationals has been confirmed by one of our events team before paying the full entry fee of £250 if you are not on the above list of Women’s teams.


*Teams will be awarded spaces based on the order of DATE (not exact time) that the form was sent. This will be assumed to be the date that entry form was received unless there is additional information (e.g. screenshot of transfer, postmark on stamp etc.)

Please can all teams who wish to enter Mixed Nationals submit their team using the UKU Event Entry Form. Make sure this is done otherwise it will be assumed that your team is not entering and it will be offered to someone else! Any team that does not want to play at Nationals needs to email as soon as possible to inform the Events Team why, so they can contact the team next in line to be offered the place. 


For teams that attended Mixed Regionals North, due to it being a one day event, £75 will be put towards your Nationals fee and so you only need to pay £175 for the Nationals entry fee. For teams that attended Mixed Regionals South, you are required to pay the full £250 entry fee.
