With only 3 days to go until Tour 0 North, please find attached some directions for use over the weekend.

Get to Junction 10 of the M5 from the North. From here head towards Cheltenham on Tewkesbury road. When you get to the first big island turn left. McDonalds, Homebase and PC World are on this. Then follow the road, straight over the two painted roundabouts (past topps tiles and Cotswold bowl) and follow the road. You’ll bear round to the right and left under a railway bridge. Keep going until you come to a major cross roads. Straight over. You’ll see Newlands Rugby club on your left. Take the first left (Kayte Lane). Follow this for about 300 hundred yards and on the left is the turning for Bishops Cleeve Football Club (BCFC).

As previously communicated, the tour is split over three venues for the weekend. On Saturday, there will be two pitches at BCFC and 9 pitches at the neighbouring Parish grounds. Please be sure to park at BCFC. This is where the HQ, toilets, snack bar, physio and bar are for the day. This is also where folks staying on Friday night will camp. The bar will be open until about 11 and Mez and I will be there to welcome you from 7-11. There’ll be big screen TV on too as the party that was previously planned has been cancelled. Toilet facilities will be open all night.

Once games are finished on Saturday please feel free to use the shower blocks and changing rooms at both BCFC and the parish council grounds near the main road. These are very new and looked after and so please respect the facilities. For those camping, it’s time to move over to Newlands rugby club. Turn Right out of BCFC to the end of the road and right again. The entrance is on the right before the traffic lights. The bar and food area will be open from 7, music and party will start at 8, finished for about 12.30, last orders at 12.

You can see that the Pitches are split between Newlands and the parish grounds on Sunday. Breakfast will be available from 7-9.30 on Sunday morning in the Rugby club house (where the party is on Saturday night). 4 pitches will be at Newlands on Sunday and 7 of the 9 will be used at the parish grounds. Facilities will be available at both the parish grounds (as per Saturday) and at Newlands. All food/HQ/prize giving etc will operate out of Newlands Rugby club house on Saturday – nothing will be available at BCFC. If you have any questions, let me know. Players pack and schedule to follow – hopefully tomorrow. All the best and looking forward to seeing you on Saturday morning for a great weekend of Ultimate Frisbee.
