As per previous years this years Mixed Tour 1 will be held at Llanrumney Fields in Cardiff. 






TOKAY - Ultimate Frisbee Boots 

We are pleased to announce that TOKAY will be at this event selling their brand new Ultimate Frisbee boots. 

Keep an eye out for their shop and take a look at what they have to offer!

WATER: We WILL NOT be providing team water bottles. 

Water will be available from the main building but it’s a bit of a walk away from the pitches so make sure that you bring more than one water bottle and that you fill them up before your game! Especially if you have a back-to-back!!


 Entry for this tournament will open on Friday 5th January until Friday 2nd March for all UK teams. Teams are required to enter using the UKU Event Entry Form

If any international teams (including Irish teams) wish to enter this competition, the deadline for entry is Friday 2nd February and teams must also enter using the UKU Event Entry Form

Due to the number of international team spots being limited for this event, the entry deadline for non-UK teams has been brought forward to enable us to confirm whether your team has been awarded a space and so you can book flights/accommodation early enough. When entering into the tournament, please make sure that you tick the relevant box on the entry form to identify yourselves as an international team. 

Once the entry deadlines for both international and UK teams have passed, there is no guarantee that any teams will be awarded a place. Places MAY still be available later on a first-come first-served basis if the tournament is under-subscribed, and if the additional team(s) would not adversely affect the schedule, but no team - no matter how strong - would be guaranteed entry; if the tournament is full then the team(s) will be placed on a wait list to be awarded a space should one become available due to a drop out. Although please note that late entries may be charged an additional £30 fine and any teams entering less than two weeks before any of the Tour Series tournaments may be fined an additional £50 by UKU.

If the tournament is oversubscribed at the time of the deadline, the following rules will apply, in order: 

  • Teams not on the blacklist (for late dropouts at previous events) will get priority over those who are
  • Teams from UKU-Affiliated clubs will be given priority over those who aren't
  • Teams finishing in the top half of the same event in the previous year will be given priority.
  • First teams will NOT get priority over second teams - it is so easy to simply change the name of a 'second team' to avoid such a rule, which would disadvantage those 'proper' clubs who have a real identity.
  • To fill any remaining spaces at the tournament, the remaining teams who have not already been awarded a place will be selected by random draw.

The payment deadline for ALL teams is Friday 2nd March

Upon submitting the UKU Event Entry form on behalf of your team, you agree to make payment of the full team entry fee by the stated payment deadline. For any team that does not send payment by the deadline and/or the payment has not been received, their place can be cancelled and awarded to the next team on the wait-list at the discretion of UKU. 

If any teams pull out following the specified entry deadline(s) (as above) a penalty will occur:

  • Teams that drop out after the entry deadline date will be liable for 50% of the fees.
  • Teams that drop out in the fortnight prior to the tournament will be liable for the full team fee and will not be refunded.

Venue - There will be food available as per normal and the usual changing/showering facilities will also be available. 

Result & Spirit reporting - We will yet again be implementing a paperless system. After every game please head to the form (link to follow) and submit your game and spirit score for your opposition. In the unlikely event that no one in your team has a smartphone/device you will be able to do this at the TD desk as a last resort.

Pitches - Where possible we are aiming for 5m between pitches. Where this has not been possible please ensure that you use common sense when looking where to store bags etc. This year line markings will be in blue to save confusion over other markings around the pitches.

Hooters - Games start and cap will be signalled using hooters - details on the schedule. 

Warm ups - Where possible please run your warm ups off the pitches to ensure they stay in the best condition for the games.

Physio & First Aid - There will be 3 physios on site to deal with any injuries incurred during the tournament. Please note they are not there to help with pre-existing injuries. There will also be 2 first aiders on site located in or around their ambulance. The nearest hospital can be found here - 

Camping - Unfortunately there will be no onsite camping this year. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Parking - As per previous years if you are parking at the fields the venue staff reserve the right to charge for parking (approx. £1 per car per day). Please note once the fields close on Saturday evening, you will not have access to your vehicle. Please only park in designated areas.
