UKU Club Open & Women's Indoor Nationals 2019

Club Open and Women's Indoor Nationals will be co-located at a huge indoor 3G rubbercrumb venue in Cranford, London on the weekend of 16th-17th February 2019.

 

CWIN ENTRIES OPEN: 7th December - 4th January 

COIN ENTRIES OPEN: 21st January -  28th January 

 

For the Open division, only teams that qualified through the Club Open Indoor Regional tournaments are eligible to enter, however, for the Women’s division there are 24 spaces available. If the Women’s division is oversubscribed at the time of the deadline, the following rules will apply, in order:

  • First teams will NOT get priority over second teams - it is so easy to simply change the name of a 'second team' to avoid such a rule, which would disadvantage those 'proper' clubs who have a real identity.
  • Teams not on the blacklist (for late dropouts at previous events) will get priority over those who are
  • Teams from UKU-Affiliated clubs will be given priority over those who aren't
  • Teams finishing in the top half of the same event in the previous year will be given priority.
  • To fill any remaining spaces at the tournament, the remaining teams who have not already been awarded a place will be selected by random draw.

Places MAY still be available later on a first-come first-served basis if the tournament is under-subscribed, and if the additional team(s) would not adversely affect the schedule, but no team - no matter how strong - would be guaranteed entry; if the tournament is full then the team(s) will be placed on a wait list to be awarded a space should one become available due to a drop out. Although please note that late entries may be charged an additional £30 fine.

 

Once the entry deadline has passed, the list of confirmed teams will be published on the UKU website and sent out as one of our Event Newsletters. Please do not expect an individual confirmation email - you need to keep an eye out for the announcement! However, if it’s after the deadline and you’re unsure whether your team has made it and/or you can’t find the information on the above, please email events@ukultimate.com and we will be able to confirm whether or not you have been awarded a space.

 

If any teams pull out following the specified entry deadline a penalty will occur:

  • Teams that drop out after the entry deadline date will be liable for 50% of the fees.
  • Teams that drop out in the fortnight prior to the tournament will be liable for the full team fee and will not be refunded.
