SEUMIR will be returning to Reading FC's Madejski Stadium Academy Dome.

The surface is 3G, as opposed to sprung wood.

Deadline for entries for first teams is noon Monday 11th October; after which second teams will be awarded entry on a first-come-first-served basis.

Absolute deadline for entries is October 22nd.

Captains packs and Schedules, assuming a smooth entry process, will be distributed at least a week before the event.

This is just off the A20 approx 1 mile outside the south circular. Nearest train station is Mottigham approx 5 mins walk away form the venue.


 


 


There is no camping on site but there are a range of BnB options in the Sidcup, Eltha,m and Mottingham regions all of which would be suitable and close. There is a caravan club campsite in Abbey Wood approx 4 miles away which takes tents for those with a limited budget.

UKU Open Tour 1 - 2010 (B+C)

Open & Women Tour 1 2010 will be split across two seperate venues.


B+C divisions will be held in Cheltenham (same venue as Mixed Nationals).


Sorry for not updating this sooner, O/WT 1 B+C Divs will be held at Bishops Cleeve Football Club in Cheltenham!


This year the entire event will be held at BCFC with pitches spanning around the club house. We will have 16 pitches available including a show pitch which will host a show game on Saturday night. Team fee includes all of the usual things as well as a continental style breakfast on Sunday morning. Hot and cold food, drinks/refreshments will be available all day from the 'Soccer Snax' kiosk - not included in team fee.


We are also blessed with having free physio and sport massage - may not be on every pitch but we'll be well staffed!!!


The party will also be held at the BCFC club house but don't worry it'll be over by 1am to give you plenty of time for sleep before sundays play.


STOP PRESS - as we're putting on a show game on Saturday evening, we will also be providing food to those who wish to partake. This will be a curry and a pint of beer for the princely sum of £5. This is per player and on top of the team fee. I will be contacting the various team captains who have organised payment tonight to give them information as we MUST have final numbers by Friday 21st May - via your team contact not to me direct.


We're really looking forward to hosting you so have a good rest on we'll see you on 28th/29th May depending on when you turn up.

Uni Nationals are again being staged as part of the wider BUCS Championships.  The tournament will be held at Mount St Marys college, near Sheffield.

For players attending the event, we will work in a very similar way to last year.  There are buses to shuttle players between Sheffield city centre and the venue, and there will also be lunch boxes provided at the venue (covered by player entry fees) as the site is rather isolated.

If you have qualified we now need you to confirm that you are coming asap.  Qualified teams are shown in the boxes on the right hand side of this page.  Teams highlighted in BOLD have registered - thanks.

BUCS have sent blank team sheets to your A.U.  We are also sending copies to team contacts once they have registered.  You can also download the forms from this page - see links at the bottom of the page.

We will need team sheets to be sent to BUCS by your AU, and will also need an indication of whether you have your own minibus/transport or if you will be using the shuttle buses.  Please also send a copy of the team sheet to admin@ukultimate.com.

The BUCS Championships website also has details of events on Friday and Saturday nights that all accredited team members/coaches/etc are able to attend.

Teams need to organise their own accommodation.  Please note that as we are part of the BUCS championships some clubs will find their Universities have already obtained accommodation in Sheffield as they do big block bookings for all their teams.

Transport

As last year we have buses that will be able to transport players between Sheffield City Centre and St Marys College.  At this point we have assumed that some teams/players will have their own transport - and we do need to check that we have booked enough buses - so please let us know about this asap.
