SEUMIR will be returning to Reading FC's Madejski Stadium Academy Dome.

The surface is 3G, as opposed to sprung wood.

Deadline for entries for first teams is noon Monday 11th October; after which second teams will be awarded entry on a first-come-first-served basis.

Absolute deadline for entries is October 22nd.

Captains packs and Schedules, assuming a smooth entry process, will be distributed at least a week before the event.

Taking place on the weekend of the 16th/17th of October being hosted by
Leeds University's fantastic brand-new, on-campus EDGE Sports Centre:

- 16 Beginners teams

The usual beginners format of one experienced player with an amusing
hat/costume (no scoring) and loose mixed (at least one opposite

Uni Nationals are again being staged as part of the wider BUCS Championships.  The tournament will be held at Mount St Marys college, near Sheffield.

For players attending the event, we will work in a very similar way to last year.  There are buses to shuttle players between Sheffield city centre and the venue, and there will also be lunch boxes provided at the venue (covered by player entry fees) as the site is rather isolated.

If you have qualified we now need you to confirm that you are coming asap.  Qualified teams are shown in the boxes on the right hand side of this page.  Teams highlighted in BOLD have registered - thanks.

BUCS have sent blank team sheets to your A.U.  We are also sending copies to team contacts once they have registered.  You can also download the forms from this page - see links at the bottom of the page.

We will need team sheets to be sent to BUCS by your AU, and will also need an indication of whether you have your own minibus/transport or if you will be using the shuttle buses.  Please also send a copy of the team sheet to

Teams need to organise their own accommodation.  Please note that as we are part of the BUCS championships some clubs will find their Universities have already obtained accommodation in Sheffield as they do big block bookings for all their teams.

As last year we have buses that will be able to transport players between Sheffield City Centre and St Marys College.  At this point we have assumed that some teams/players will have their own transport - and we do need to check that we have booked enough buses - so please let us know about this asap.


University Mixed Indoor Nationals

This year there will be two divisions at University Mixed indoor Nationals for the first time; allowing more teams the chance to compete at the highest level at an excellent venue. The tournament will have room for up to 40 teams in one hall on state of the art 3G pitches. This is an experience not to be missed.

How to register: 

To register send an e mail to Derryk Boyd at the above address no later than the Friday following your regional qualifiers. Payment should be received no later than the following Friday after registering. Failure to meet the above deadlines may result in your place being offered to and taken by the next available team.

Accomodation and transport: 

Due to the size of the tournament, accommodation on Glasgow players floors can only be guaranteed for teams travelling from the WEST, SOUTH EAST and MIDLANDS at the minute, teams from the North and Scotland will be allocated space if there is any left. As floor space is limited I would advise as many teams as possible to take advantage of the many hostel/budget hotel options available in Glasgow (especially if your sports union offers funding for accommodation). Glasgow central travelodge allows easy access to the venue by train and has rooms for around £40 per night based on 3 sharing (but usually has 4 beds per room) 

There are also lots of Hostels in the Glasgow area that offer beds for around £10 per night, some may be able to offer group rates if you phone and ask and you might be able to book a whole room just for your team.
