Further to our announcement on 9th July 2018 about GB squads 2019-20, UK Ultimate is inviting applications from volunteers that would like to work with the GB Youth teams during the two-year period 2019-20 in the roles of Team Manager, Lead Coach and Assistant Coach for the U20 Womens, U17 Womens and U20 Open squads (U17 Open roles were appointed last year through to end EYUC2019).  We're looking for expressions of interest by October 22nd with full applications completed by Wednesday 31st October.

We maintain a group of “pool coaches” who provide coaching and supervision at some training sessions without committing to attend all the sessions or the final competitions.  If you're interested in being a pool coach then please look out for further announcements.

The EYUC2019 will take place in Wroclaw (POL), 10-17 August 2019 and the WJUC2020 will take place in Malmö (SWE), 18-25 July 2020.

Applications and expressions of interest should be made using this form.  The closing date is midnight 31st October.

GB U24 and Masters managers 2019 application deadline extended

Following our call for GBU24 and GB Masters squad managers, we have received no applications the roles of GBU24 Manager and GB Mixed Masters Squad Manager.  Consequently the GB Committee is extending the deadline for applications for those roles ONLY until Monday 15th October.

As a reminder the 2019 World U24 Ultimate Championships are to be held in Germany, July 2019.  For the U24 Manager role you can find the role outline here.  This volunteer role is primarily about good organisation and project management and will involve working closely with UKU Performance Director, Ali Tincknell, as well as the squad coaches.  It is not a coaching role, and there is no requirement to be a past, current or future GB player.  The position is not fixed to the competition cycle, but will be reviewed after 1 year with the potential to extend further.  Applications should be made using this form.

Applicants for the GB Mixed Masters Squad Manager role should note that the exact locations and dates of both EMUC 2019 and WMUC 2020 are still to be decided and anyone interested in a leadership role should consider the potential impact of this during their application; in particular considering the possibility that WMUC may not be in Europe.  EUF is aiming to announce the date and location of EMUC 2019 by the end of October, and we are hopeful that WFDF will make their announcement before then. Applications should be made using this form.  Team manager responsibilities are outlined here

The closing date for both roles is midnight 15th October.
