On September 26th, at the Alan Higgs Center in Coventry, UK Ultimate will host it's annual AGM & Development Conference. Again, this takes place alongside the UKU Elite Skills Clinic. The aim of the conference is to bring together everyone who is interested in knowing what's going on and putting a little extra back into the community. UKU Nationals Rosters & Membership - IMPORTANT

IOC grants full recognition to WFDF

WFDF is pleased to announce that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) today has granted full recognition to the World Flying Disc Federation at its 128th Session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1985 and celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2015, the WFDF is composed of 62 national member associations on five continents. WFDF had received provisional recognition by the IOC in May 2013.  The full story can be found here on the WFDF website.

World U23s really is sold out!

The WFDF 2015 World Under-23 Ultimate Championships is almost upon us.  On Sunday afternoon (12th July), the event will get started with the traditional athletes parade followed by a demo game between two local primary school teams, and then the Opening match between hosts GB and defending champions USA (Open division).  There are 41 teams from 23 countries mostly playing 2 games per day until Finals Day on Saturday.

If you didn't already know, we have limits on the number of people that can attend the event on any given day.  We have basically sold out on all days now!  We are looking closely at the numbers and trying to release a few additional tickets where we can - especially if we can help family and friends of people that are competing.  But really and genuinely, please do not come if you do not have a ticket.  It will not be possible to pay to get in on the day.  We understand this will be disappointing for some people, but the limits are there for the safety of spectators and participants.  In hindsight of course we wish our plans had provided more space for spectators, and as a result we have already made changes for Worlds 2016.  Thanks for your help.
