UK Ultimate is pleased to announce the the GB World Games squad will be led by Sion "Brummie" Scone as non-playing coach with Bex Forth and Rob Schumacher appointed as team managers.  For the record, both Rob and Bex will have to earn their selection as players as Brummie will have the final word on the selection process.  All three of them have a wealth of experience and successes both with GB and other teams in recent years.  We look forward to the team bringing back more WFDF medals!

World Championships Silver Medal

Congratulations to GB Open who secured 2nd place at the WFDF World Ultimate & Guts Championships 2012 in Osaka on Sat 14th July.  The team reached the final after hard-fought victories over Australia and Sweden in the quarter- and semi-finals respectively.(C) Neil Gardner - nzsnaps.com(C) Neil Gardner - nzsnaps.com

Reaching the final makes this year's team the most successful men's ultimate team that Great Britain has ever produced.  Strong combined results across the Open, Women's and Mixed divisions also guaranteed that GB Ultimate qualified for the World Games 2013 to take place in Cali, Colombia.
