This newsletter is intended to provide a simple stream of information about UKU events. At the point of launch, the intention is that this will provide a definitive source of the most important information relating to UKU events: - dates - registration processes - news updates in the weeks preceding an event (e.g. schedule released, etc)

UKU Club Competition Structure Review - 2019 Onwards

Are you a relatively new Ultimate player? Or have you been playing Ultimate for years? Do you ever have questions about certain aspects of our competition structure or why things are organised the way they are? If you answered yes to any of those questions then we want to hear from you!

 

UKU Nationals 2018 (EUCR-W) - Introducing the Spirit Circle Before the Game

Please find an announcement below from the EUF President regarding the introduction of Spirit Circles before the game at all EUF sanctioned events. As UKU Nationals is also EUCR-W, please note that this will be applicable to the event being held on 25th-26th August at The Pavilion in Birmingham. 

 

Dear European Ultimate Community


After the very positive responce of the introduction of the Spirit of the Game circle before the game at the EUCF2017, the EUF dediced to extend this Start Game Procedure to all EUF santioned events in 2018 (EUCRs and EUCF).

UKU Nationals 2018 (EUCR-W) - Confirmed Schedule

We are pleased to now confirm the schedule for UKU Nationals 2018! 

 

If you haven't seen already, you can now access the schedule through the NEW event website: https://sites.google.com/ukultimate.com/uku-nationals-2018

 

On there you will also be able to find all of the information that you need for the tournament, including the pitch map and venue information. Our aim is to replace the old info pack with these new, mini event websites which we hope to be easier to navigate and more mobile-friendly.

Going to UKU Nationals 2018? Get involved in the Competition Structure Review!

In the next stage of our Club Outdoor Competition Structure Review for 2019 onwards, we will be holding several Q&A discussions to give you the opportunity to talk to us about what you look for in your competitions, what you feel is or isn't working for Club Ultimate at the moment, and for us to explore with you what we can consider for the future. The first of these sessions will be run at UKU Nationals 2018, being held at The Pavilion, Moor Lane, in Birmingham.

UKU Nationals 2018 (EUCR-W) & Competition Structure Review

Did you qualify for EUCR-W 2018 (UKU Nationals)? If so, don't forget that entries close this Sunday

UKU Nationals/EUCR-W 2018 Update

The UKU Competitions Committee have been reviewing the formats and schedules for all three divisions at EUCR-W 2018 (UKU Nationals). Apologies for the delay in sending this out to you, the original intention was the publish this information prior to the qualifying events taking place, however we did not want to rush the process at the risk of mistakes being made.

 

All competitions are to be held over two days, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.

UKU Regionals & Women's Qualifier - Final Standings & Qualifiers, Spirit Results & Lost Property

Thank you to everyone that took part in the qualifying events that have taken place over the last two weekends. We hope that you all enjoyed the various events and played some good, competitive ultimate!

 

Congratulations to all of the teams that qualified for UKU Nationals 2018! The full list of qualifiers can be found at the bottom of this newsletter. Please ensure that you respond to the email that has been sent to you to confirm whether or not you will be taking up your spot at the EUCR-W event on 25th-26th August by tomorrow (Tuesday 7th August).
