Entries NOW OPEN for Y Ddraig Goch & Nottingham Windfarm 2019!

Early Bird entries are now open for both Y Ddraig Goch (30-31 March) and Nottingham Windfarm (1-2 June)! Teams can enter NOW using the GoMembership website

If you’re not yet aware, these events are now using the NEW Club Outdoor Event Entry Process. This means that currently only Early Bird entries are being accepted. If you enter in this period, before 30th January for Y Ddraig Goch and 27th February for Nottingham Windfarm, you will be subject to the harsher drop out penalties should you no longer wish to participate in the event, however you will benefit from earlier confirmation of whether you have been awarded a space at the event and a slightly reduced team entry fee. If you are not sure whether this type of entry is suitable for your team, entries will remain open until the Closing Date for both events to allocate remaining spaces at the event (please see dates below). Full details can be found in the new entry procedure document, which we recommend that you familiarise yourself with, and if you have any questions then please email events@ukultimate.com and we will be happy to help.

To clarify, the entry opening/closing dates for each event are as follows:

Y DDRAIG GOCH

Entries Open: 9th January

Early Bird Entry Deadline: 30th January

Entry Closing Date: 27th February

NOTTINGHAM WINDFARM

Entries Open: 9th January

Early Bird Entry Deadline: 27th February

Entry Closing Date: 24th April

In general there will be a slight increase in the team entry fee for the events run and organised by UKU this year, with the standard entry fee being £250 and the Early Bird fee at £230. Unfortunately this is due to the fact that most of the costs associated with running our events are increasing and whilst we do try and reduce the cost for teams as much as we can, regrettably it’s become harder to avoid. Please note though that this will not apply to all club outdoor events this year as with the new competition structure and the bidding process for Tier 2 events being introduced, the entry fee may vary for the smaller competitions.

We would also like to announce that the UKU Terms & Conditions of Tournament Entry will be introduced for all events from this point onwards. This is to make it clearer what it means for you when you enter a UKU event and so that you know what is required of you as a participating member, team or club when entering and attending UKU events. It also clarifies what our responsibilities are as the National Governing Body for when you enter into our competitions.

These Terms & Conditions do not aim to change anything, but you should make sure that you are aware of what is outlined in the document prior to your team entering into any UK Ultimate event. When entering events you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions as part of the usual entry process.
