UKU Club Open & Women’s Indoor Qualifiers 2021-22 - Confirmed Team Lists

Thank you to all of the teams that have entered into the Club Open & Women’s Indoor Qualifier events scheduled to take place this season. We have received an unprecedented number of entries and it’s great to see so many of you interested in competing in 2021-22! 


Unfortunately though, this level of interest has also meant that quite a few of the events are oversubscribed and so we have had to run the allocation criteria to allocate the spaces for each event.

HOWEVER, we are in the process of trying to see if there’s a way for us to accommodate more teams across the competition series. 


The Open division: Due to the particularly high number of Open teams that have signed up, we are trying to secure an additional venue booking for the teams on the waitlists. 


COWIQ Dundee: We are trying to see if we can increase the number of pitches for the event but as this is a new venue we need to spend some time looking at this in more detail before confirming. In the meantime, we have confirmed the minimum number of teams that we can fit in. 


CWIQ Cranford: Unfortunately there was an issue with the venue which means that this event is now ONE DAY ONLY - Sunday 5th December. We are trying to secure additional booking hours so that we can start the event earlier and fit more game slots into the schedule but we are not 100% certain that this is possible yet. If we do get confirmation that we can access the venue earlier than 1pm (games starting ~2pm) then we will be sure to let you know ASAP (we hope to know by next week at the latest - w/c 22nd November). We can confirm though that games will finish no later than ~8pm either way. 


If we are successful in securing additional spaces for any of the events, we will publish a further announcement outlining the details so keep an eye out for updates.

In the meantime, if any teams are interested, there remains 1 SPACE at each of the CWIQ Alan Higgs and COIQ Plymouth events. These spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis so if you are interested in going to either of these events then please email ASAP. 


Alternatively, if you wish to remove your team from the waitlist then please contact us so that we can arrange for your team fee to be refunded.
