UKU Nationals 2020We are excited to announce that for 2020 we will be moving UKU Nationals to the Highfields Sports Complex at the University of Nottingham. Home to other major events such as the European Touch Championships, we are looking forward to working closely with the University to host the UKU National Championships at their premier venue, and to give the best Ultimate athletes in the UK the chance to showcase their talent in this fantastic setting.
Being held on 29th-30th August, it’s sure to be a great event, so spread the word to family and friends to make a day of it - or even a full weekend! Working closely with Visit Nottinghamshire, we hope to get all players and spectators access to some great City Centre deals and discounts during the event. Although don’t forget, if you want to be in with a chance to compete, your team has to attend UKU Regionals on 1st-2nd August to qualify (more details to follow soon)!

Also, if you haven't heard yet, we are working on a bid to host the 2022 World Ultimate Club Championships in Nottingham, and bringing UKU Nationals here will help us to develop that project. With the plan being to use both the Riverside Sports Complex (home to Nottingham Windfarm & the University Men’s & Women’s Outdoor National Championships) and the Highfields Sports Complex to their full potential, in conjunction with having the University Campus in walking distance and the City Centre directly linked via public transport, we think that this is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring the best athletes from across the world back to the UK! We hope to know by summer 2020 whether we have been successful or not, so keep an eye out for updates on the UKU website.
