The Road to Nationals

Next weekend is the start of the journey to nationals for teams up and down the UK as 44 teams descend on York and Edenbridge for UKU Regionals to try to earn one of bids to UKU Nationals 2019 in the Women’s, Mixed and Men’s divisions.

 

So how does qualification work?

Simple, the top placed teams in each division's regional qualifier progress to nationals. Qualifying spots for each region are based on how teams  performed at UKU Nationals 2018.

The number of UKU Nationals bids were
 allocated based on the EUCS bid allocation algorithm.


What do we know so far?

North Regionals saw 2 Women’s teams enter and with 2 nationals spots available both SCRAM and Red progress onto Nationals.

The Irish teams have already sewn up qualification in all 3 divisions and will see the following teams representing:

What next for those who qualify?

Make sure to let us know you are taking up the spot you earned at nationals (email events@ukultimate.com by the Wednesday 7th August deadline) then get planning your trip to nationals!
