Please help out the event staff this weekend by following a few rules:
The sports hall floor must be completely clear of all clothing and equipment. This INCLUDES water bottles UNLESS they are standing upright and touching the wall (sidewall for pitches 1 & 4, and the backwall for pitches 2 & 3). We suggest:
Bringing a bag / container that can be carried by coach/spectator/subs for water bottles.
Deciding jersey colours well before your game and NOT bringing spare clothing pitchside.
Event staff may clear equipment and bottles that we find on the sports hall floor and dump them in containers outside the sports hall doors.
Spectators must be standing and at least 1 metres away from the pitches.
Absolutely NO sitting down anywhere in the sports hall (until the finals).
Do not leave belongings in front of doors or in the middle of corridors.
Do not throw frisbees anywhere in the sports centre outside of the sports hall.
Do not bring food or hot drinks into the sports hall.
Join the WhatsApp Community to receive announcements during the event. Phone numbers are hidden in the announcement channel of the community.
This event will follow the UKU Tournament Rules.

Following the entry deadline we will confirm entries to allow teams to start planning for the event. Any remaining space after that deadline which will be available on a first come first served basis.
Eligibility:
Players entered into the Under-17 Division must not be seventeen (17) years old or older during the academic year in which the tournament concluded. In general this is intended to mean year 11 or below in England and Wales, and the equivalent school years in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Players entered into the Under-14 Division must not be fourteen (14) years old or older during the academic year in which the tournament concluded. In general this is intended to mean year 8 or below in England and Wales, and the equivalent school years in Scotland and Northern Ireland. (more info can be found in the Youth Event Specific Rule Appendix).
Please be in touch if you have players who are younger than year 6.
There is no qualifying round, and no 'minimum standard' your team must meet - there will be teams of beginners participating. If you are a newly formed school team, this is still for you!
Players playing for UKU-affiliated schools playing as school teams are not required to have membership.
All other players must have minimum Basic Membership of UK Ultimate.
If you are a player or a small group of players without enough for a full team, then it may be possible to arrange for you to join up with another team. We simply need you to explain your situation by emailing events@ukultimate.com and we will let you know if there’s an appropriate team for you to join.

Ultimate is often played in day, weekend or week-long tournaments at which teams compete in a number of games rather than playing one-off fixtures.
We aim to ensure that schedules provide suitable game time and that teams have adequate rest.

Parking:
There should be plenty of parking but we recommend that you do not leave any valuables in your vehicles during the day.
Surface:
Hardcourt, meaning this event is in a sports hall. Players should have non-marking trainers and should have separate shoes for being inside and outside the building.
Timing:
Saturday 10:00-17:30, Sunday 09:00-17:00
Please remember that we are not the only users of the centre over the weekend so please refrain from blocking/throwing in front of doors or hallways.

Surface: This venue is a hardcourt, meaning you will be playing in a sports hall. Players should wear clean non-marking trainers. We request that players ONLY wear their playing shoes in the building and wear a different pair of shoes when outdoors both on arrival and during the event.
Your belongings: Please don’t take all of your stuff to the playing area. Essentials such as water or inhalers can be kept on the sidelines during play but they MUST be kept a safe distance from the edge of the pitch.
Clothes: Bring warm clothes to wear between games as the venue can be quite cold.
Water: There will be water available on-site. Please bring reusable water bottles to avoid plastic waste.
Food: We cannot guarantee food will be available. Please ensure all players and participants bring a good packed lunch and lots of snacks.

Please remember that it is never worth endangering yourself or others to get the disc. You must remain aware of other players and your surroundings.
Any incidents should be reported to the TD (the person running the event).
First aid will be provided by staff.

Submit Spirit scores after each game using the button at the top of the page. The process usually takes a few minutes.
Scoring should be a team effort
Go through each category on the online scorecard (you might want to remind the team what each one means)
Ask players to use their fingers to indicate their score (0-4). Ask anyone who scores more or less than 2 to briefly explain their reason - this may help others who can change their score if they want to. Try to go with the majority
Remember a score of 2 is ‘good’ or ‘as expected.
