Coaches
This year we want to help identify all coaches attending with the teams. You may be aware that we’ve asked for all coach names in advance and will be providing lanyards and identification cards to these people. Please collect your lanyards on arrival and PLEASE remember to return them at the end of the day so we can use them again.
This change is not only so event organisers can identify you, but so that you can identify each other before or during games. Please take a moment pre-game to introduce yourself to the opposition’s coaches and share anything about your team or players before the game begins. Please note the tournament-specific rules below for additional information.

Tournament-Specific Rules
U20s is played 7-a-side (full-size pitches), U14s and U17s is played 5-a-side (reduced size pitches).
Please note that we will be implementing a rule for the U14 and U17 divisions that a dropped pull is not a turnover. Otherwise, normal outdoor pull rules will apply.
There will be no rules preventing zones from being used at any point throughout the tournament in all divisions. If both teams would like to implement a “no zones” rule for their game, they may do so. Strong teams are encouraged to consider their opponents’ general experience if using non-match-D defensive tactics in games that they are going to win comfortably either way.
Team sizes and planning:
You must have appropriate levels of adult supervision in place for the event. We also strongly recommend that teams plan to have a non-playing adult travelling with the team.
Based on past experience please note that you should not enter a team unless you have:
For Junior (U20) events, at least 10 fit players able to travel
For Under-14 & Under-17 events, at least 8 fit players able to travel
However, more than this is recommended.
