MESH

This is MESH! The Minority Ethnic Showcase project.

MESH aims to showcase the talent amongst minority ethnic groups in UK Ultimate to inspire the next generation of athletes, whilst also creating a space to have conversations around potential barriers to the sport.

Launched in 2021, MESH opened applications to players of all levels. There were almost 100 responses from players from around the UK. Everyone who signed up was invited to be part of the MESH community, and 20 players were selected to join 8 captains for a mixed-gender showcase held in North London in September 2021.
