Youth Ultimate UK, a UK Ultimate partner, has launched their newest Youth club. Guildford Youth Ultimate (GYU) offers a welcoming and supportive environment for young people across Surrey to learn and play Ultimate Frisbee. Weekly sessions are held at Tormead School Astro, Guildford.
Ages 8–17 welcome! Weekly 1.5 hour mixed-gender sessions are designed to help young players develop their skills, learn the game and, most importantly, have fun playing Ultimate. Whether you're completely new to the sport or already playing regularly, everyone is welcome.
Players will be split into age and ability groups, so training can be tailored to the right level. Sessions will cover core skills, tactics and gameplay, with plenty of opportunities to put what you learn into practice.
No previous Ultimate experience is needed to get involved!
