UKU U14/U17 Open Indoor Nationals Draft Schedule and Key Information
As we did last year, we have decided to allocate some BALCONY “base locations” to each school/club to help us all make efficient use of the space. We are planning to put signs on the wall on Saturday morning, but have also emailed each team a sketch which has been created to help everyone find an area.
Please note:
As teams move around the venue, most teams and spectators will at certain times want to watch from the balcony near to their team’s pitch.
Please adopt a flexible and friendly approach to sharing “your area” with people temporarily watching a particular game.
There is also a large café area on the ground floor as you enter the building.
We hope that this approach will also make it easier for teachers and coaches to make sure their area is cleared and tidy when they leave at the end of each day.
If you would like to adjust the space that has been allocated to you, please let me know. If you think we have dramatically over/under estimated the numbers of your group, please let me know ASAP.

The venue has now started charging for parking so please be aware that you’ll need to pay. If there are no venue staff on the barrier when you arrive, you will need to pay for your parking in the main building.
Please can all coaches/staff come and check in with the TD before the event starts to collect a sticker with their name on it so that you can be identified throughout the event. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.
Other reminders:
The sports hall floor must be completely clear of all clothing and equipment. This INCLUDES water bottles UNLESS they are standing upright and touching the wall (sidewall for pitches 1 & 4, and the backwall for pitches 2 & 3). We suggest:
Bringing a bag / container that can be carried by coach/spectator/subs for water bottles.
Deciding jersey colours well before your game and NOT bringing spare clothing pitchside.
Event staff may clear equipment and bottles that we find on the sports hall floor and place them in containers outside the sports hall doors.
Spectators must be standing and at least 1 metres away from the pitches.
Absolutely NO sitting down anywhere in the sports hall (until the finals).
Please do not leave belongings in front of doors or in the middle of corridors.
Please do not throw frisbees anywhere in the sports centre outside of the sports hall.
Please do not bring food or hot drinks into the sports hall.
The sports centre has lockers, which they run on a system of user-provided padlocks. So if you are able to bring a padlock(s) for lockers you may find that helpful. Please note that any padlocks left on lockers overnight will be removed by the sports centre.
UKU Membership
Pupils from UKU Affiliated Schools can compete for their school at this event without UKU membership.
All other UK-resident players, including those who are playing with a school team but do not attend that school, must have at least Basic UKU membership.

The draft schedule is now available here. Our schedules remain subject to change if teams are forced to withdraw, and if their withdrawal has a substantial impact on the schedule for one or more other teams.
