WUCC 2026 Provisional Bids and UKU Club Nationals Allocation 2025

WFDF have published the provisional bid allocation list for the World Ultimate Club Championship 2026, taking place in Limerick, Ireland. The UK has received a provisional bid allocation of 3 Open bids, 2 Women’s bids and 2 Mixed bids.

These bids will be assigned based on the results of UKU Club Nationals 2025 so we also wanted to confirm the bid allocation for this tournament. Both the Mixed and Open division will have 4 bids each at North and South Regionals and there will be 8 bids at Women’s Qualifier.  We note that teams are still able to enter these events in all divisions.

The UKU Competition Committee will continue to review the bid allocation process annually to determine if/when there is a need to move away from the current allocation of equal bids (4) to each of the two regions.

The competition format at Nationals will be essentially the same as 2024; that is

  • Two pools of 4 on Saturday, with the top two in each pool progressing to semi-finals and finals on Sunday; and a 5-8 semi-final bracket for the teams finishing 3rd and 4th in the pools.

  • There will NOT be any further “WUCC-games-to-go”.

  • Teams are assigned to the pools as follows based on the results at the Regionals/Qualifier:

    • Women’s: A: 1,3,6,8 and B: 2,4,5,7

    • Open: A: S1, N2, S3, N4 and B: N1, S2, N3, S4

    • Mixed: A: S1, N2, S3, N4 and B: N1, S2, N3, S4
