GB U24 Lead Coach and Assistant Coach 2027 Applications are Live

We are pleased to invite applications for Coaches for the GB U24 Squads attending the 2027 World Under 24 Championships.

We welcome applications from individuals or small groups* that would like to put themselves forwards to be involved with leading one of the GB teams (Mixed, Open, Women's) through the WU24 cycle.  Reasonable expenses for up to 3 coaches per squad will be available, but we ask all coaches to remember that these costs are covered by the players. Please see below for more information on the management roles for the GB U24 Squads.

The event date and location for WU24 2027 is yet to be announced. We understand that this may provide some challenges for potential applicants for squads at those events. If you are interested in any of those roles but have any concerns about the potential dates/locations please contact gb.admin@ukultimate.com to discuss them.

The closing date for applications is 12/04/2026 at 23:59.

Roles

U24 Lead Coach

The Lead Coach is responsible for the overall coaching and player management of their squad. They are responsible for the team and it’s wellbeing throughout the preparation, training, and competition phases. This is a non-playing position.

U24 Assistant Coach

The Assistant Coaches are responsible for working with the Lead Coach to ensure high level coaching and management of their squad. They are jointly responsible for the team and it’s wellbeing during the preparation, training and competition. This is a non-playing position. 

GB Coach and Squad Manager Guidance Call

Interested applicants for both the GB U24 Coach roles and GB Senior Squad Manager role are encouraged to attend an online call to learn more about the roles. The call will take place at 8:30PM on Tuesday 31st March and is expected to last approximately 30 minutes with a chance for questions at the end.
