UKU U14/U17 Challenge Plate Draft Schedule and Key Information
The draft schedule is now available for the U14/U17 Open Challenge Plate is now available. Our schedules remain subject to change if teams are forced to withdraw, and if their withdrawal has a substantial impact on the schedule for one or more other teams.
Information for participants is on the event page. Some important messages may be added to the Header page of the schedule.
In particular please remember:
This event will be played on rubbercrumb (3G) pitches. Trainers are ok, but we advise astroturf or football boots with short studs. Boots with long metal studs (eg Rugby style boots) or blades are not allowed.
We do not expect there to be an onsite café or shop, so please bring food and snacks.
Only water bottles should be taken on to the pitches. Food and sports drinks may not be consumed on the pitches. Food may not be consumed in the gym. Please help tournament staff by taking as much of your own rubbish, especially plastic water bottles away with you as bin space at the venue is limited.
Bring warm clothes to wear between games as the venue can be quite cold.
We are expecting the venue to be busy. Please help out tournament staff by minimising the belongings you need to bring with you to the venue and only take water bottles on to the pitches. Only players and coaches from the teams currently playing should be on the pitches whilst games are ongoing. Spectators should watch the games from behind the fence or on the balconies.
Event staff may clear equipment and bottles that we find on the sports hall floor and place them in containers outside the sports hall doors.
Spectators must be standing and at least 1 metres away from the pitches.
UKU Membership
Pupils from UKU Affiliated Schools can compete for their school at this event without UKU membership.
All other UK-resident players, including those who are playing with a school team but do not attend that school, must have at least Basic UKU membership.
