2020 Indoor Event Dates - University & Club National Competitions

We are pleased to announce the dates and locations for both Club Open & Women’s Indoor Nationals (COWIN) and Club Mixed Indoor Nationals (CXIN) for the 2020 season.

COWIN will be held on 22nd-23rd February at Cranford Superdome, with play being from approx. 1pm-9pm on Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sunday.

CXIN is going to be at K2 Crawley on 7th-8th March. Games will run approx. 9am-5pm on both days.

Also, following a review of the February/March 2020 events, to avoid the University Women’s teams from having University Women’s Indoor Nationals and the 2nd Central Venue BUCS League fixture on consecutive weekends, we will be swapping the Men’s and Women’s Indoor Nationals Competitions.

UKU Nationals 2019 (EUCR-W) - Final Standings, Qualifiers for EUCF, Spirit Results & Lost Property

Thank you and well done to everyone that took part in UKU Nationals in Bimirmingham over the weekend! It was certainly tough at times, dealing with the heat and facing strong competition, but we hope that you all had a fantastic time.

Huge congratulations to Gravity for winning the Women's division - the first Irish team to ever win UKU Women's Nationals, to SMOG 1 for coming top in the Mixed division, and also to Clapham for finishing 1st at UKU Nationals for another year! Given that this event was also the qualifier for EUCF, a massive well done also goes to Chevron Action Flash, Ranelagh and Alba for qualifying for the Open division, to Iceni qualifying in the Women's division, and to Deep Space and SMOG 2 for taking the remaining qualifying spots in Mixed.

UKU Nationals 2019 - Update

Following confirmation that the Ryanair strikes are no longer taking place in Ireland this weekend, we are pleased to finalise the schedule for this weekend.

As you may be aware, industrial action by pilots working for Ryanair has recently been announced for the dates of August 22nd and 23rd, the two days directly preceding UKU Nationals. As a result there is potential for disruption for a significant number of the Irish players planning on attending EUCR-W that weekend.

As a result of this we are holding off confirming the schedule for the event until we have more information. All players and captains should be aware that there is the potential for significant changes to the draft schedule that has been published.

Thanks in advance for you patience as we work to make this the best event possible for all participants. All updates will be posted on the UKU Nationals event website and via the UKU Event Announcements Newsletter.
