WMUCC 2026: Bids Update and EoI for additional Masters-Open and Masters-Women Divisions
We are thrilled to announce that UK Ultimate has been offered, and hoping to accept, a total of 15 bids for the World Masters Ultimate Club Championships (WMUCC) 2026, taking place in Nottingham, UK, from Sunday, June 28th to Saturday, July 4th, 2026. For more details please see below. We also have a further bid on the Waitlist in the three Masters divisions.
For the Masters-Open and Masters-Women divisions, we have been awarded three bids each, with a further 4th bid on each of the Waitlists. Currently, two teams are confirmed in each of these divisions, leaving room for more.
Expression of Interest and Key Timelines
If you or your team are seriously interested in taking up one of these bids, please let us know as soon as possible by completing this EoI. We need an indication of serious interest by Tuesday, September 30th, and a firm commitment by Monday 6th October.
The official deadline to accept a binding bid with the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is Wednesday 8th October 2025. Please note that this is a binding confirmation. The team fee of USD $2500 must be paid by Friday, October 10th, 2025. WFDF reserves the right to revoke bids that are not accepted or paid for by the deadline, and team fee payments are non-refundable.
For the additional bids only, UKU *may* be willing to cover the initial team fee payment, given the timescales.
If we have multiple viable applications for these bids, we will work with the teams involved to come up with a fair solution, presumably by paying the initial team fee ahead of organising playoff(s) in the next few weeks.
Time is very short, so we encourage interested teams to start organizing and contact us promptly.
