Youth Outdoor Nationals - Draft Schedule Announcement
Youth Outdoor Nationals 2026 is set to be the largest ever Youth Outdoor Tournament in the UK with 62 teams across 5 divisions! Please see below for the draft schedule and reminders before the event.
Important Reminders
Please see the following important information for the weekend:
The current forecast is indicating it is likely to be hot. While there is some shade available onsite, all players and teams are encouraged to bring umbrellas/gazebos with them for additional cover. Gazebos:
Do not use the cricket square and please be respectful of the whole cricket field
Keep away from the ultimate pitch sidelines (see point 3 below)
Please take care to remove all pegs afterwards - this is important
We will also be providing ice to assist with keeping cool during the event. This can be requested at the TD desk. Please bring your own ice-boxes.
Please help us keep the sidelines clear! Do not leave fixed/hard/heavy items within 5 metres of the pitches and please do not leave anything at all - including water bottles - within 2 metres of the pitches.
There will not be a captains meeting in the morning, but on arrival please check in at the TD desk and collect your team disc.
Parking - we are expecting a lot of people and cars, please fill the car park sensibly so all spaces can be used. If you have been contacted directly about parking elsewhere please follow those instructions.
Aside from the ice cream van, no other food will be available for purchase on site. Please bring food with you.
Discs will be on sale during the event between 12pm-2pm at the TD desk.

Schedule
The draft schedule is now available here. Our schedules remain subject to change if teams are forced to withdraw, and if their withdrawal has a substantial impact on the schedule for one or more other teams.
Information for participants is on the event page. Some important messages may be added to the Header page of the schedule.
Membership
Pupils from UKU Affiliated Schools can compete for their school at this event without UKU membership.
All other UK-resident players, including those who are playing with a school team but do not attend that school, must have at least Basic UKU membership.
Tournament-Specific Rules
Please note that we will be implementing a rule for the U14 and U17 divisions that a dropped pull is not a turnover. Otherwise, normal outdoor pull rules will apply.
There will be no rules preventing zones from being used at any point throughout the tournament in all divisions. If both teams would like to implement a “no zones” rule for their game, they may do so. Strong teams are encouraged to consider their opponents’ general experience if using non-match-D defensive tactics in games that they are going to win comfortably either way. Further to some queries about this, this is intended to be a simplification, because at some point it’s hard to define what is / isn’t a “zone”. We recommend that U14 teams play match-defense, we’re just not implementing this as a rule.
