UKU Club Outdoor Ranking Events 2020

The Club Outdoor UKU Ranking Events calendar for 2020 is now available to view! Following a successful year in 2019, the plan for the upcoming season is to continue to build upon the UKU Ranking Event structure to maintain some consistency for teams and help in the logistical planning of events.

Similar to last year, we ask for anyone that is interested in hosting a Tier 2 event throughout the season, whether you’d like to do it as part of a club or on your own as an individual, to submit a bid by emailing! More information HERE

Club Open & Women's Indoor Qualifiers 2019-20 - Confirmed Team Lists

Thank you to everyone that entered the Club Open & Women Indoor Qualifier events! We are happy to now confirm the team lists for all of these competitions.

We are pleased to now confirm the date and location for University Mixed Outdoor Nationals for the 2019-20 season!

Following consultation with the University clubs and discussion within the University Committee, UXON 2020 will be held in the summer. This is partly to try and reduce the impact of the weather on the competition, after several years of compromised events due to high levels of snow or water-logged fields, as well as to enable us to build the competition into something bigger and better!

For 2020, UXON will be held on 13th-14th June at The Pavilion, Birmingham (B6 7AA). There will be free camping available on the Friday and Saturday night, and an indoor bar area will be open so that you can make the most of the event!

Club Open & Women's Indoor Qualifiers 2019-20 - December Final Standings, Qualifiers & Spirit Results

Congratulations to all of the teams that competed over the weekend. We hope that you all had a great event! Also, thank you to all of those that took part in International Spirit of the Game Day - it's great to see so many of you embodying spirit and inspiring others.

Well done to both Icenior and Birmingham 1 for taking home the winner trophy and also to those that qualified for UKU Indoor Nationals, taking place on 22nd-23rd January at the Cranford Superdome. The full final standings and qualifiers can be found on each of the two schedules -

CWIQ Cranford

COIQ Coventry

Please don't forget that you need to confirm NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY 11th DECEMBER  if you are NOT taking up your qualification spot by emailing, or even if you're just concerned at this point that you won't be able to enter. This will then give us enough time to award the spot to another team. If you do not let us know by that date, you WILL be liable to pay the full entry fee even if you are not attending Nationals.

Club Open & Women's Indoor Qualifiers 2019-20 - December Events & #iSOTG Day

No issues have been raised for either of the schedules and no information has been received that indicates that anyone will drop out, so we are happy to now CONFIRM the schedules for this weekend.

The Info Packs can be found on the UKU Event Page, where you will find the venue information for the weekend and the relevant spirit link for your event.
Also, if you haven't heard yet, it's International Spirit of the Game day on Saturday! The Spirit Committee would love everyone to take part (details below) so if you're able to, share your inspiring posts and let's support and grow Spirit around the world :-)

UKU University Mixed Indoor Nationals 2019-20 - Final Standings, Spirit Results & Lost Property

It was a toughly fought weekend with lots of close, competitive games across the board. However, a huge congratulations goes to Nottingham 1, who took away the Championship trophy with a convincing 9-6 win against Exeter at their home venue, the David Ross Sports Village! Also, well done to Hertfordshire 1 for winning the Division 2 event in Coventry.

Club Open & Women's Indoor Qualifiers 2019-20 - December DRAFT Schedules

The DRAFT schedules for the Club Open & Women's Qualifier events taking place this weekend are now available to view.

UKU University Mixed Indoor Nationals 2019-20 - Update

As part of a larger review of the indoor competition schedules, along with the University Committee and the Indoor Director of Competitions, the decision has been made to change the game timings and the end-of-game rules slightly for this weekend.

Instead of ‘finish the POSSESSION’ on Sunday, games will now be ‘finish the POINT’. Please make sure that you read the updated game rules carefully before the weekend. These can be found on the Brief Schedule page.

Also, the gaps in between games have been made slightly longer, to give teams more opportunity to warm up prior to their games using the pitch space that has been hired for the competition.
